Perthshire

Former inland county of central Scotland, which merged into three districts in the regional councils of Central and Tayside in 1975.

The greater part merged into Perth and Kinross district of Tayside region in 1975, with smaller parts being merged into Stirling district of Central region and the city of Dundee of Tayside region.

The summer-house stood in grounds attached to a country seat in Perthshire, known by the name of Windygates.
