Opera by Haydn (libretto ditto), produced at Eszterháza, Hungary, in September 1770. In the story, Prince Lindoro must discover who the heiress of Benvento is. Both Nerina and Lesbina claim to be the princess, but their lovers Burlotto and Frisellino foil their plans. Eurilda is revealed as the true heiress.
