Pechenga

Ice-free fishing port in Murmansk oblast, in the northwest Russian Federation, situated on the Barents Sea 100 km/62 mi northwest of Murmansk; population (1990) 2,800. Russia ceded Pechenga to Finland in 1920 but recovered it under the 1947 peace treaty.
