Pevernage, André (1543-1591)

Flemish composer. After holding an appointment at Courtrai 1565-85, he moved to Antwerp about 1587 and became choirmaster at the cathedral, holding the post until his death. Apart from cultivating church music, he held weekly concerts at his house.
