Philiphaugh

Village and battlefield in Scottish Borders unitary authority, Scotland, situated on Yarrow Water, 5 km/3 mi southwest of Selkirk. In 1645 James Montrose, 5th Earl of Montrose, and his Royalist army were defeated here by the Covenanters.
