Phillips, Zara Anne Elizabeth (1981– )| English equestrian and member of the British Royal Family. She became world champion in eventing in 2006 on ‘Toytown’. She is the daughter of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips and the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II. |

| She won the individual gold and team silver medals at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany, to become the world champion in eventing in 2006. Eventing includes dressage, cross-country, and show jumping. She was voted BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 2006, an award received by her mother in 1971. |
| Phillips was born in London, England. After attending boarding school at Gordonstoun, in Scotland, she earned a degree from Exeter University, England, and qualified as an equine physiotherapist. She became the first royal to receive a commercial sponsorship when she signed with the spread betting firm Cantor Index in 2003 and made her team debut at the UAE International Horse Trials at Windsor in 2004. She won two gold medals at the European Eventing Champions, at Blenheim, England, the following year. She was awarded the MBE for services to equestrianism in 2007. |
