Piccadilly

A main road in London, England, running between Piccadilly Circus and the southeast corner of Hyde Park. In Piccadilly are St James's Church, designed by Christopher Wren; Burlington House, home of the Royal Academy of Arts; and the Ritz Hotel. Piccadilly was extensively developed and made fashionable in the late 17th century, when the life of the court centred on nearby St James's Palace.
