Pick-Mangiagalli, Riccardo (1882–1949)

Czech-Italian composer. He studied in Prague, Vienna, and Milan. In 1936 he succeeded Pizzetti as director of the Milan Conservatory.

operas Basi e bote (1927), L'ospite inatteso and Notturno romantico (1936); ballets Salice d'oro, Il carillon magico, Casanova a Venezia (1929), La Berceuse, and Variazioni coreografiche; mime dramas Sumitra (1917) and Mahit (1923).
