Pico Rivera

City in Los Angeles County, southwestern California, USA, on the Rio Hondo and San Gabriel rivers, 14 km/9 mi southeast of downtown Los Angeles; population (1990) 59,200. An industrial suburb, its diverse products include cars, trucks, hardware, electronic components. The city was incorporated in 1958, joining the towns of Pico and Rivera. It has a predominantly Hispanic population.
