Petrus de Cruce (lived c. 1290)

Composer, possibly from Amiens (in northeastern France). His mensural theory is expounded in the works of Robert de Handlo and John Hanboys. Two motets from the Montpellier manuscript can be assigned to him, on the authority of the Speculum Musicum by Jacobus of Liège.
