Pinto, George Frederic (1786–1806)

English violinist and composer. His real name was Sanders, but he adopted that of his maternal grandfather. He studied with Salomon and others, and appeared at Salomon's concerts from 1796. He then toured in England and Scotland, and visited Paris. His early death was allegedly the result of dissipation.
