Pisador, Diego (c. 1508–1557)

Spanish vihuelist. He was the son of a notary attached to the household of the Archbishop of Santiago. He took holy orders but did not enter the church. In 1552 he published a book of transcriptions of old Spanish songs, portions of masses by Josquin Des Pres, and motets by Morales and others for vihuela.
