Popa, Vasko (1922-1991)

Serbian modernist poet. He was one of the first writers to challenge the literary establishment in the early 1950s in the controversy between modernists and realists. His works include Kora/Crust 1953, Nepočin-polje/Field of Sleeplessness 1956, Sporedno nebo/Secondary Sky 1969, and Uspravna zemlja/Earth Erect 1972.
