Porsena, Lars

In Roman legend, the king of Clusium in Etruria. In the 6th century BC he marched with an army against Rome to restore Tarquinius Superbus to the throne. He laid siege to the city, but accepted a peace settlement and withdrew.

According to another tradition, Porsena became ruler of Rome.
