Portuguese man-of-warAny of a genus Physalia of phylum Coelenterata (see coelenterate). They live in the sea, in colonies, and have a large air-filled bladder (or ‘float’) on top and numerous hanging tentacles made up of feeding, stinging, and reproductive individuals.
