Post, Wiley (1900-1935)

US aviator. From 1924 to 1931 he gave flying exhibitions, flew passenger flights, and worked as a test pilot. In 1931 he flew around the world in eight days, 15 hours, and 51, breaking the previous record of 21 days. He died in an Alaskan air crash with the humorist Will Rogers. Post was born in Grand Saline, Texas.
