Poteau Mountain

Timbered ridge of the Ouachita Mountains, USA, along the Oklahoma-Arkansas border, rising to 787 m/2,579 ft. It overlooks the city of Heavener, Okalhoma. A 4 m/12 ft-high slab, purported to have been carved by Nordic explorers on 11 November 1012, lies within Heavener Runestone State Park.
