Power, Leonel (c. 1375-1445)

English composer and theorist. He wrote a treatise on the singing of descant (a high-pitched line for one or more sopranos added above the normal soprano melody of a hymn tune) and composed Masses, including Alma redemptoris, motets, and other church music.
