Powers, Anthony (1953– )

English composer. He studied at Oxford University, in Paris with Nadia Boulanger, and at York University with David Blake. He has taught at Dartington College of Arts and Exeter University, both in Devon.

Works Voice with instruments Souvenirs de voyage for soprano and piano (1979), The Winter Festival, for mezzo and nine instruments (1985).
