Lord's Prayer

In the New Testament, the prayer taught by Jesus to his disciples. It is sometimes called ‘Our Father’ or ‘Paternoster’ from the opening words in English and Latin respectively.

The Lord's Prayer is frequently used in the Christian church and is usually the first prayer a Christian child is taught. It is one of the prayers said by Roman Catholics and some Anglicans when reciting the rosary.
