Predieri, Luc' Antonio (1688–1767)

Italian composer. He was maestro di cappella of the cathedral at Bologna. In 1738 he went to the court chapel in Vienna, becoming chief Kapellmeister there in 1746. He returned to Italy in 1751.

Works

operas Il sogno di Scipione (1735), Perseo (1738), Armida (1750), and others, serenades and festival plays for the stage, oratorios.
