Prestopino, Gregorio (1907-1984)

US painter. He used social themes painted in an expressionist style, as in his Harlem series (1957), which became an award-winning Cannes Film Festival film, Harlem Wednesday (1958).

He was born in New York, New York. Based in New York, he studied at the National Academy of Design.
