Preysing, Konrad von Preysing, Count of Lichtenegg-Moos (1880-1950)

German diplomat and cardinal. After a diplomatic career he became a priest in 1912. He was made bishop of Eichstatt in 1932, bishop of Berlin in 1935, and a cardinal in 1946. With Cardinals Faulhaber and von Galen, he was one of the leaders of German Catholic resistance to the Nazi dictatorship.
