Kelly, Grace (Patricia) (1929–1982)

US film actor. She was known for her elegance and classic beauty. She starred in High Noon (1952), The Country Girl (1954, for which she received an Academy Award), and High Society (1956). She also starred in three Alfred Hitchcock films – Dial M for Murder (1954), Rear Window (1954), and To Catch a Thief (1955). She retired from acting after marrying Prince Rainier III of Monaco in 1956.

After her marriage she devoted herself to the principality, raised three children, and was active in charities until she died in a car accident.
