Proctor, Alexander Phimister

Proctor, Alexander Phimister (1862–1950)

US sculptor born in Canada. He lived in Connecticut and the western states, and was known for his Western subjects, such as Bronco Buster 1918.

He was born in Bozanquit, Ontario. He studied in New York City at the National Academy of Design and the Art Students League in 1887, and worked with Augustus Saint-Gaudens in 1894.
