Psyché

Opera by Jean-Baptiste Lully (libretto by Thomas Corneille and Bernard le Bovier de Fontenelle), produced at the Opéra, Paris, on 19 April 1678. See Psyche for a plot synopsis.

Suite by César Auguste Franck for orchestra with choral interpolations, composed 1887–88 and first performed at the Société National, Paris, on 10 March 1888.
