Ptolemy XV (47–30 BC)

Son of Cleopatra and, allegedly, Julius Caesar. Cleopatra declared him joint ruler of Egypt after killing her husband, Ptolemy XIV, 44 BC. He was murdered by Octavian, the future emperor Augustus.

It is alleged that Mark Antony once told the Senate that Caesar had acknowledged that he was the father of Caesarion. In 34 BC he received from Antony the title of ‘king of kings’.
