Pullois, Jean

    0.02 sec.

Pullois, Jean (c. 1420–1478)

Flemish composer. His output consists mainly of songs but also includes some sacred music. He is important as one of the few named composers active during Guillaume Dufay's middle years.

He was a singer in the Burgundian court chapel until 1463, then was choirmaster at Antwerp 1444–47. He sang at the papal chapel in Rome 1447–68. His single Mass cycle may really be the work of an English composer.
