Punan

Member of a nomadic people living in the jungles of central Borneo. They live in small, scattered bands, migrating every 15 days. The sago palm provides their staple food, augmented by what they can hunt and trap. Today most of the Punans work as porters for the settled Kayan and Kenyah peoples and speak Malay.
