Quinault

River of western Washington, USA; 120 km/75 mi long. Rising southeast of Mount Olympus, in Olympic National Park, and flowing southwest through the 842-sq km/325-sq mi Quinault Indian Reservation to the Pacific Ocean. Within the park the river valley is part of the Quinault Rain Forest, and is filled with massive old-growth trees.
