The interior of the medieval church of St Protus and St Hyacinth at Blisland, on the edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. The former poet laureate, Sir John Betjeman (1906–1984), wrote admiringly of this church. Its carved-wood rood screen has recently been restored.

Alternative name for the cross of Christ, often applied to the large crucifix placed on a beam or screen at the entrance to the chancel of a church.
