Radhasoami

The supreme being of the Radhasoami faith, founded 1861 by Shiv Dayal Singh (1818–1878) near Agra, northern India. The faith teaches a blend of yoga and bhakti derived, yet distinct, from Hindu tradition. Its principal centre is now the Radha Soami Satsang in Beas, in the Punjab, where the present leader is Charan Singh (1916– ), a grandson of the original founder. There are over 2 million followers of the Radhasoami faith worldwide.
