Raindrop Prelude
| Piano prelude by Frédéric Chopin in D flat major, Op. 28, no. 15, written at Valdemosa, Majorca, in 1838. It is said to have been suggested by the dripping of raindrops from the roof; hence the continuously repeated A flat = G sharp, which is the dominant both of the main key and of the C sharp minor middle section. |
