Rainy Lake

Lake partly in Koochiching and St Louis counties, Minnesota, USA, and partly in the Rainy River District of Ontario, Canada. It is 80 km/50 mi long; 56 km/35 mi of it runs along the international boundary. It is continuous with Namakan Lake in its southeastern corner, and its western outlet flows into the Rainy River.

The lake is filled with many small islands, has numerous peninsulas and bays, and borders a densely forested area.
