Ramprakash, Mark Ravin (1969– )

English cricketer for Surrey and England. A right-handed batsman, whose Test average is a disappointing 27.32, though he averaged 42.41 in 12 Tests against Australia. He received a major setback to his Test career when he was overlooked for the 1999–2000 England tour of South Africa, but he was recalled to England the following summer. He also decided to stand down as captain of Middlesex after the 2000 season, and, having spent 14 years with the county, moved to Surrey in 2001.
