Randall, John (1717–1799)

English organist, scholar, and composer. He was a choirboy under Gates at the Chapel Royal in London. He became organist of King's College, Cambridge, in 1743 and professor of music there in succession to Greene in 1755, taking the Doctor of Music the same year; he was later also organist of Trinity College.
