Rautawaara, Aulikki (1906–1990)

Finnish soprano. She studied in Helsinki and Berlin, making her debut in 1932. She sang Mozart's Countess in the inaugural production at Glyndebourne in 1934 and returned until 1938 in Le nozze di Figaro and as Pamina; she repeated the role of Mozart's Countess at Salzburg in 1937. In 1949 she sang songs by Sibelius at the Edinburgh Festival.
