Opera by Giovanni Paisiello (libretto by Giambattista Casti), produced at the Burgtheater in Vienna on 23 August 1784. In the story, the deposed King Teodoro hides from creditors in Venice. He falls in love with Lisetta, but she is united with Sandrino, and Teodoro ends up in debtors' prison.
