Irish stage and film actor, who has enjoyed a long-running collaborative relationship with writer–director Neil Jordan, most notably in The Crying Game (1992) and The End of the Affair (1999).

Other films include Company of Wolves (1984), Bad Behaviour (1993), Princess Cariboo (1994), Angie (1994), Interview with the Vampire (1994), Prêt-à-Porter (1994), Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea (1995), Michael Collins (1996), and Guinevere (1999).
