Reach, Al(fred) (James) (1840–1928)

English-born US baseball player-manager. He played baseball for the Philadelphia Athletics 1871–72 and also served as player-manager. In the 1870s he founded a sporting goods company that manufactured equipment used in professional baseball.

Born in London, he emigrated to the USA at an early age.
