Reece, Arley (1945- )

US tenor. He studied at the Manhattan School of Music and sang in Die Königin von Saba at Carnegie Hall in 1970; for his New York City Opera debut in 1974, he sang the role of Bacchus. He appeared with regional companies in the USA and made his European debut at Wexford in 1973, in The Gambler by Prokofiev. He has sung throughout Europe in operas by Berg, Weber, Wagner, and Janáček, appearing in Warsaw 1989-90 in the Ring cycle. Other roles include Lohengrin, Calaf, Otello, and Manrico.
