Reichenbach

Town in the Land (administrative region) of Saxony, Germany, 48 km/30 mi southwest of Chemnitz, at the foot of the Erzgebirge; population (1995) 23,900. Reichenbach has an important textile industry, and manufactures machinery and ceramics.

German name for Dzierzoniów, a town in Poland.
