Reichian therapy

In alternative medicine, any of a group of body therapies based on the theory, propounded in the 1930s by Austrian doctor and psychiatrist Wilhelm Reich, that many functional and organic illnesses are attributable to constriction of the flow of vital energies in the body by tensions that become locked into the musculature. Bioenergetics and Rolfing are related approaches.
