Renaud, Madeleine (1903–1994)| French actor. The wife of Jean-Louis Barrault from 1940, she played leading parts in most of his productions. She also assisted in the direction of the Compagnie Renaud–Barrault, founded in 1946. |
| She began her career at the Comédie Française and was already well known as an interpreter of the heroines of Pierre Marivaux when Barrault first came to act there. |
