Reno, Jean

    0.04 sec.

Reno, Jean (1948- )

Moroccan-born French film actor. A stalwart of European cinema - Le Grand Bleu/The Big Blue (1988), La Femme Nikita/Nikita (1990), Les Visiteurs/The Visitors (1993), Par-delà les nuages/Beyond the Clouds (1995) - this physically imposing actor, with his trademark hangdog demeanour, was also one of only a handful of 1990s European screen performers to enjoy success in English-speaking cinema. Reno won acclaim starring opposite Natalie Portman as a professional assassin in Léon (1994). He went on to feature in such action-adventure films as Mission: Impossible (1996), Ronin (1998), and Rollerball (2002).
