Respighi, Ottorino (1879-1936)

Italian composer. His works include the symphonic poems Fontane di Roma/The Fountains of Rome (1917) and Pini di Roma/The Pines of Rome (incorporating the recorded song of a nightingale, 1924), operas, and chamber music. He was a student of Rimsky-Korsakov.
