Rhapsody in Blue

Work for piano and orchestra by Gershwin, composed in January 1924 and orchestrated by Grofé. First perfomed at New York on 12 February 1924, with Gershwin and Paul Whiteman band. A version for symphony orchestra in 1942 was one of the earliest orchestral works to integrate jazz elements to a large extent.
