Richfield

Town in Hennepin County, southeast Minnesota; population (1990) 35,700. It lies to the south of Minneapolis. Its proximity to Minneapolis, Bloomington, and the Minneapolis–St Paul International Airport has made Richfield one of the fastest-growing suburbs in the area.

Richfield

Small town in Summit County, northeast Ohio; population (1990) 3,100. It is located 22 km/14 mi northwest of Akron. The abolitionist John Brown lived in this farming centre during the 1840s. Traces of prehistoric earthworks can be seen nearby. The Coliseum, former home to the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team, is in Richfield township, 3 km/2 mi northeast of the town.
