Rickmansworth

Town in Hertfordshire, England, 6 km/4 mi southwest of Watford, on the rivers Colne, Gade, and Chess, and the Grand Union Canal; population (2001) 3,600. Although primarily residential, the town has some industrial activity; lorries, asbestos, and paper are manufactured, and there are printing works.
