Riddiford, Lynn M(oorhead) (1936- )

US entomologist. She made major contributions to studies of the hormonal control of insect development, insect embryogenesis, and the effects of insect olfaction and pheromones.

She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was a research fellow at Harvard 1961-63, then taught at Wellesley College 1963-65, Harvard 1965-73, and went to the University of Washington in 1973.
